The use of non-ferrous materials was incorporated throughout our refurbishment program. All materials carry a 10 year manufacturers guarantee. The manufacturer of all systems was Network Bird Control Systems. The installation was undertaken by BETAPEST Midlands Limited, Containerbase, College Road, BIRMINGHAM B44 8DR.

This system involves fixing a net to a tensioned wire rope which is secured to the building using fixings.

Stainless steel 10 mm Eye Bolt: Used as a corner and recess fixing in circumstances where extra strength is required. These were used on the newly netted section in Pinfold Street, and to replace existing fixings which showed signs of deterioration.

Stainless Steel Split Pin inserted into Nylon Anchor Rivet: Used as an inconspicuous intermediate fixing. Used as a guide to keep the tensioned rope controlled and close to the building. These were used on the newly netted section in Pinfold Street, and to replace existing fixings which showed signs of deterioration.

Stainless Steel Wire Rope: Replaced throughout. Used to provide a strong and durable foundation for attachment of the

Copper Ferrules: Sections of the wire rope were joined together

Stainless Steel Barrel Tensioner: Used to tension the wire
